By accessing or using the Smart Lawn NY website (smartlawnny.com), purchasing products, or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website or services.
Use of the Website and Tools
Our website provides information about robotic mowers, online purchasing, and interactive tools including a property analyzer and cost calculators. You agree to use these tools and content for lawful purposes only. The property analysis tool provides estimates and recommendations based on available data and should not be considered a professional survey or guarantee of product performance.
You agree not to:
- Use the website in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the website or its systems
- Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or collect data from the website
- Interfere with the proper functioning of the website
Product Purchases
Pricing and Availability
All prices are listed in US dollars and are subject to change without notice. We make every effort to display accurate pricing and product information. However, errors may occur, and we reserve the right to correct any errors, update information, or cancel orders if pricing is incorrect.
Product availability is subject to change. If an item is out of stock, we will notify you and provide an estimated timeline or alternative options.
Orders and Payment
By placing an order, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and that the information you provide is accurate and complete. All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason, including suspected fraud.
Service Plans and Subscriptions
Mowing-as-a-Service (MaaS)
MaaS subscriptions provide robotic mowing equipment and ongoing maintenance for a recurring fee. MaaS terms include:
- Equipment remains the property of Smart Lawn NY for the duration of the contract
- Cancellation requires 30 days written notice
- Equipment must be returned in working condition upon cancellation
- Service includes routine maintenance, blade replacements, and seasonal adjustments
Service Plan Cancellation
Annual service plans may be cancelled within the first 30 days for a pro-rated refund. After 30 days, no refund is available for the remainder of the service period. See our Return & Refund Policy for full details.
Installation Services
Professional installation includes RTK base station setup, boundary mapping, zone configuration, charging station placement, and training. By scheduling installation, you agree to:
- Provide reasonable access to the property on the scheduled date
- Ensure the lawn area is clear of debris and obstacles
- Provide access to an outdoor electrical outlet (GFCI protected) within reach of the charging station location
- Be present (or have an authorized representative present) during installation
If access or electrical requirements are not met on the scheduled date, a rescheduling fee may apply.
Perfect Mower Guarantee
We want you to be completely satisfied with your robotic mower. Our Perfect Mower Guarantee includes:
- 30-day exchange window -- if the mower is not right for your property, you may exchange it within 30 days of delivery for full purchase credit toward a different model
- Working condition required -- the mower must be returned in working condition, free from damage beyond normal use
- No cash refunds -- exchanges are for store credit or a different model only; cash refunds are not available
- Installation is non-refundable -- installation labor and setup fees are not refundable, even if the mower is exchanged
- One exchange per purchase -- the guarantee covers one exchange per original purchase
Warranty
All robotic mowers and accessories sold by Smart Lawn NY are covered by the manufacturer's warranty. Smart Lawn NY is an authorized dealer, not the manufacturer. Warranty claims are processed through the respective manufacturer (Segway/Navimow, Yarbo, etc.) in accordance with their warranty terms.
Smart Lawn NY does not provide any additional warranty beyond the manufacturer's warranty unless explicitly stated in writing. We will assist you in initiating warranty claims and coordinating with the manufacturer.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Smart Lawn NY, its owner, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our website, products, or services. This includes, but is not limited to, property damage, loss of use, or loss of data.
Our total liability for any claim arising from the sale of a product or service shall not exceed the amount you paid for that product or service.
The property analysis tool, calculators, and product recommendations are provided as helpful guidance. They do not constitute a guarantee of performance on your specific property.
Intellectual Property
All content on this website -- including text, images, logos, graphics, videos, and software -- is the property of Smart Lawn NY or its content suppliers and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission.
Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our website or services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Westchester County, New York.
Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of the website after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
